Light of the World School began as a Mother’s Day Out, for ages 2 through 4, in 2001 with 12 students. The school has grown to over 150 students for 2 year olds through Kindergarten.  Light of the World School serves families from the Keller area, as well as the surrounding communities of Fort Worth, Haslet, Saginaw, and Watauga.  We have a staff of more than 20 who are dedicated to nurturing each child as a unique and special child of God, with the potential for growth and development in all areas.

Our integrated curriculum includes Chapel, PE, Spanish, Musikgarten, reading readiness, math, science, social studies, language development, health education, art, drama, block centers, book centers, story times, writing centers, computer centers, and large and fine motor skills and playground time.  These activities are carefully planned and implemented by the teachers to help develop the child in social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth.  Our low staff-to-child ratios afford the children needed individual attention. 
Our Chapel curriculum, is Bible based and is integrated into all aspects of our day.  It is also reflected in the way our teachers manage their classrooms in the areas of discipline, maintaining order, and helping children to settle disputes and overall interaction with other classmates.
